Diabetes statistics

The following statistics provide the prevalence of (self-reported) diabetes types at baseline and the incidence (i.e. self-reported newly diagnosed diabetes since the previous questionnaire) at follow-up questionnaire 2A, distributed over age groups.
Note that blood analyses of Lifelines participants showed 46,700 cases of pre-diabetes and 1,800 cases of undiagnosed (i.e. not reported) diabetes.
