As of May 2020, ~3000 Lifelines participants have died.
Lifelines continuously receives updates about the death of participants via the BRP, and these data may be released for scientific purposes.
We do not know the cause of death of participants, but researchers may obtain this information via data linkage with Statistics Netherlands.
