Food intake of newborn babies was assessed in the context of the Lifelines birth cohort NEXT (sections: reproduction & development and nutrition).
A newborn [postnatal diet (FFQ)|food frequency questionnare]] was also used in the context of NEXT. In addition, Lifelines assessed breastfeeding performed by adult female participants.
