Children's diet (FFQ-TNO)

The diet of Lifelines participants between 8-12 years old was assessed with a children's food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) developed by TNO (section: nutrition)1).
The diet of underage participants was also assessed with various general questions, whereas the diet of adolescents was also assessed using an FFQ that was originally developed for adults.
Note that the diet of newborns was assessed using specialized general and FFQ questions in the context of birth cohort NEXT.

Information regarding the Children's FFQ developed by TNO can be requested from the (Lifelines Research Office).
