====== Work ability (WAI) ======

The [[https://healthy-workplaces.eu/previous/all-ages-2016/nl/tools-and-publications/practical-tools/work-ability-index|Work Ability Index]] (WAI) is an instrument used in occupational health care and research to assess work ability of workers during health examinations and workplace surveys ([[sections|section]]: [[wellbeing & subjective health]]). The full WAI consists of 7 items, 4 of those were implemented in [[start|Lifelines]].\\
Note that work-related wellbeing is also assessed in Lifelines using the [[psychosocial work environment (COPSOQ)|COPSOQ]], [[work role functioning (WRFQ)|WRFQ]], and [[work-home interaction (SWING)|SWING]] instruments.\\
